EleMints: Periodic Table App Reviews

Great!

One of the best periodic table apps for iPhone but, no Retina graphics?

Okay, but needs work

Okay program, but it needs to be turned 90 degrees, and the molecular weight calculator needs to be able to support parentheses.

Great App!

Well worth the $4.99. This will be excellent for my chemistry homework! Particularly our final exam review, because my final exam is this Thursday!!!

Wonderful

Such a wonderful way to view the periodic table and view tons of information. This application combines the usability of a periodic table with the information of an encyclopedia. The app looks simple and yet has controls to reveal so much more information. This is something that I would have loved to have during my Chemistry class. Great job.

Boo- horrible update

I used to use this every day in my Chem class. After the update, the formula tools are gone. I used those all the time! And now all there is is a lame spreadsheet of the information. This really feels like a step backwards.

It ok

To be 100% honest i wish i could use the old app, i miss the molar calculator and the listings table acts a bit funky to me. I like the new table layout though!

Nice

Clean and simple just like it should be. Developer is also quick to respond to bugs. Good work guys.

Outstanding!

The best periodic table app for iPad that Ive seen, and Ive looked at them all.

Version 2.1 Crash

Im not sure if Im the only one, but my newly installed version of Elemints keeps crashing upon opening the app. Im an avid user of this application and Im dismayed by this issue. Could you please fix this ASAP? Im really anxious to use it again. Otherwise, its the greatest chemistry app out there! Moreover, I would like to see the formula % composition calculator back on (its a great convenience). Thank you!

Just two things Id like to see in this app

The ability to calculate the percentages [%] of the elements in a chemical compound such as NH3 (just to give an example: 82% N and 17% H) and...the exact atomic weights and the exact abundance in [%] of the isotopes of the chemical elements regardless its radioactive or not ! If you please include these two things my rate would definitely change from 3 stars to 5.

Best periodic table app!

With the frequent updates, no other periodic table app Ive tried is nearly as good.

Great!!

Amazing Chemistry app! Regular improvements and updates. For Basic and advanced uses. Periodic table is great, amount of info for elements is great, organization, ui, and function is great, and the chem equation balancer and molar mass calculator is great and awesome. Very handy Thanks dev team! Above and beyond my expectations for when I first bought the app.

Beautiful.

Easy to use and great for my application of occasional reference!

Best among the worst

Contains only very basic/common data. Isotope data (abundances) are presented for stable isotopes only. Thus, Tritium and Carbon-14 do not exist!

Beautifully Practical

This is not only the most insightful chemistry app Ive found to date, but also the most beautiful. It flows very well, has so many intuitive design choices and navigation methods I couldnt begin to list them all. It does everything I could hope an app and has all the information I need. Beauty and brains all in one package. I couldnt have asked for a better periodic table on my phone. I wish every subject had apps this great to accompany me. Well worth every penny.

I love this software

Its really useful, and there r many different ways to study the new stuffs by using it. However, sometimes I should remember many detail because I cant use my phone during the exams Lol

Could be improved, especially "Articles" web connect

This could be the nicest app for periodic table. The developer appeared to be committed in improving the app since its launch. This is a major plus. I have been trying to view the Articles, but could not succeed. It seems like the developers website is down. Since the links are to Wikipedia and Web Elements, why not having a direct access to those websites, instead of routing the requests through the developers server? The problem is, if this developer folds its business or terminate its support, we will lose the access to all those articles!!!

Incredible!

The amount of data and UI of the app are impressive

Worth the $$$

Sure there are a few more things that could be added, but overall a great app! Saves a lot of time looking up the most common information, very helpful!

EleMints

Good app but the directions for the tools page cant be found anywhere. What all can it do besides give me the molar mass?
